When I saw this in some deviants' journals, I couldn't resist: I definitely had to fill it in! *_* While answering I recalled so many memories of the period when I first joined DA!
So...let's go!


1. Why did you join this site?
I actually found it by chance: I was looking for some Goku/Chichi pics - oh yeah, I was obsessed with Dragon Ball when I was sixteen! - and I bumped into one on ~Gosha-Chan's works. I couldn't believe I had discovered such a giant mine of G/Cc images! xD Then, since I've always loved drawing, I wanted to test my skills and share my drawings with the other artists (whose works looked so much better than mine! I felt miserable because I wasn't able to use graphic programmes), and I joined DA. Then I realised you could befriend with the other deviants through DeviantWatch, and I was even happier of being a member of the community.

2. What does your username have to do with you? Is it a combination of your favorite things, or a character of yours?
It's pretty stupid, actually: "Ale" is the shorter version of my full name (Alessandra), "-ina" is the Italian ending used to refer to little things and "-chan", of course , is a classic Japanese pet name (kawaii desu! XD). So, if translated, my username would be something like "little, little Ale". XD In my defence I must say that I was SIXTEEN when I created it! xD

3. What is your current icon of?
It's a little self-portrait I made three years ago, and it doesn't come from a bigger pic.

4. How many watchers do you have and how many people are you currently watching?
According to my statistics, I have 1,151 watchers and I watch 200 people.

5. Do you have more than one account?
Nope, this is the only one.

6. Name 3 of your favorite artists on DA.
Oh God, they're so many! Hmm, I'd say...
*Ecthelian, for both her linearts and the vibrant colours.

*meago because her drawings are so well-done and detailed, yet so cute!

7. What deviant do you admire because of their personality?
Oh, there are quite a few! *Yunie13, *Tsunade-91, =Shizu-178, *Madmangamer364, ~kia88, ~YukiOshi... DA is full of nice people!

8. How many people on here do you actually know in reality? Post their avatars.

9. Do you comment, fave, or both?
Eh...I mostly fave and run. I comment when I'd like to give tips, constructive critiques or when I just love that drawing so much that I can't stay quiet.

10. What do you typically post on deviantart?
Hmm...fanarts, I'd say. I'd like to post more original art, though - maybe once I'll get tired of all the wars between fandoms. xD

11. Do you participate in clubs or contests here on DA?
I joined TONS of clubs during the first period I spent in DA! xD But I've never cared much for them. Besides, I get annoyed when someone faves a pic of mine that I had sent to the admins of the clubs instead of the original deviation in my gallery, so it's been a while since I last contributed to enlarge a club. Anyway, I partecipated in some initiatives and contests (I was awarded of some prizes, too! *_*) and maybe I'll do the same in the future, if there are interesting competitions.

12. What is your most popular deviation?
It's "What he truly is", a Twilight comic I did one year ago.
The more stupid, the more popular! xD

13. What's your favorite submission in your favorites gallery?
DA is so full of talented artists that it would be impossibile to pick just one submission. I'd suggest you to browse my favourites section, which counts of almost 7,000 devs!

14. What are the things you wish you could draw better?
Um...everything? :'D More specifically, perspective and backgrounds.

15. Are you a subscriber?

16. How many hours a day do you spend on DA?
I used to spend whole afternoons in DA when I was younger, but I think it was because of the "rebellious spirit of teenagers": it was a way of escaping from the life I led when I was in high school, which wasn't one of the happiest. Now I've got many more interests and friends, and I generally browse DA in the evening, before or after dinner. Still too many hours, though! xD

17. Are you a fast, slow, or medium typer?
Um...quite fast, I'd say. I still use only my forefingers, though. Duh!

18. What is the most annoying thing people ask you?
"Do you take request?" It's annoying because in my profile it's clearly written "This deviant DOES NOT accept requests".

19. What is the most annoying comment you get?
Hmmm... a) OMG MOAR PLZ!, b)people bashing a fandom or a ship (and people who reply to them, too), c)people talking of anything but the subject of the pics.

20. What inspires you?
Everything can inspire me; I just have to wait for the right manifestation. ^^

21. Do you use any traditional media?
Eh, I'd like to! But I've never been able to use coloured pencils, and I don't have any markers. ç_ç Oh, and I'd like to learn how to shade better with pencils!

22. Do you associate people online with their icons?
Of course!!

23. Have you ever suggested a Daily Deviation?
Not yet!

24. Everyone has considered leaving DA once or twice. Have you? Why?
Hmm...maybe I did once or twice, during periods of high frustration. But I currently don't have any intentions!
